The military airfield in Mozdok was attacked by UAVs at night.

According to Censor.NET, ASTRA reports this with reference to local residents.

There is no detailed information about the consequences.

The head of North Ossetia said that 15 UAVs had allegedly been shot down.

"An attack by unmanned aerial vehicles was repelled in the Mozdok district. According to the Russian Ministry of Defence, 15 drones were destroyed by air defence systems. There were no casualties or damage," the official assured.

ASTRA geolocated a photo of smoke after the attack in Mozdok - the footage was taken near the DPC building, the district palace of culture on 50 years of October Square. This is about 6 kilometres from the airbase. Residents of the city report that the attack was aimed at the airfield.

Later, the Russian Ministry of Defence clarified that Russian air defence allegedly destroyed 158 Ukrainian UAVs at night.

"The majority - 67 - of the drones were intercepted and destroyed by air defence systems over the Kuban. Another 29 UAVs were shot down over the territory of Rostov region, 15 - in North Ossetia-Alania, 11 more - over Voronezh and 10 - over Kursk regions. The rest - over Belgorod, Penza, Saratov, Oryol regions, Crimea, Stavropol, as well as 7 drones - over the Azov Sea and 6 - over the Black Sea," the enemy Ministry of Defence assured.
