A car bomb killed two policemen at a police post in Russia's volatile republic of Dagestan.

Censor.NET reports citing Reuters referring to local media.
According to law enforcement officers and some security officials, a suicide bomber from a local extremist group is the one to blame.



Later, it emerged that the number of victims increased to three, including a man who was in the car, reportedly the bomber.

Monday's attack was equivalent to 30 kg of TNT, Interfax news agency cited police experts as saying. The number of injured reached 17, Russian news agencies said, citing health ministry officials.
