Zelenskyi hid from Biden second most influential person in power - Tatarov
At the meeting with US President J. Biden on February 20, President Volodymyr Zelenskyi lined up the most influential leaders of his government, whom he trusts the most. Except one.
Zelenskyi hid from Biden's second most influential person in power – an opponent of US relations, a Russian agent, a bribe-taker and an anti-Maidan activist Oleg Tatarov.
First, of course, stands in the line of succession the de facto leader of the Ukrainian government, the head of the Presidential Office Andriy Yermak. And only after Yermak is the head of the parliament and the head of the government.
But why is the second after Yermak influential leader of Zelenskyi's team – the deputy head of the Presidential Office, the head of law enforcement and judicial power Oleg Tatarov absent?
Oleg Tatarov is the second most influential person in power after Yermak, it was his proposals that appointed the largest number of law enforcement officers, which gives him the opportunity to control: the National Police, the State Bureau of Investigation, the Security Service, the SBU Investigation Department. It is Tatarov who "covers" the law enforcement mafia, which on a large scale "squeezes" business in the country, carries out dirty tasks and orders from Zelenskyi and Yermak, and solves his own personal corrupt issues in especially large sizes.
For Oleg Tatarov February 20th is a hard day. Tatarov was the official speaker and right-hand man of the Minister of Internal Affairs Vitaliy Zakharchenko. It was Zakharchenko who issued the order to shoot at the Maidan protesters, and Tatarov was responsible for the legal and informational support of the fight against the Maidan, justifying the killings and beatings of the protesters. After the killing of 28 Maidan protesters as a result of the storm on February 18, 2014, Tatarov appeared at a press conference and stated that "the police did not use weapons... some of the victims had gunshot wounds to the head, shots were fired from the side of the protesters".
Therefore, on February 20th, Tatarov does not accompany Zelenskyi on the events of the Heavenly Hundred - after all, it was Tatarov who actually took part in these killings and acted together with the killers from "Berkut". On January 22, 2014, for suppressing the protests on the Maidan, President Viktor Yanukovych by his decree awarded Tatarov the title of "Honored Lawyer". On February 20th, Tatarov lost power.
After being removed from power and lustration, Tatarov became a lawyer and defended in court the Russian agency - participants of the provocation in Odesa on May 2, 2014, detained in Kyiv for the state treason of the Crimean judge Chernobuk, as well as the ex-head of the administration of President Yanukovych Andriy Portnov. Tatarov and Portnov openly threatened the prosecutor Alexander Bozhko, who reported this illegal pressure, but the investigation of this case was blocked.
It should be noted that Zelenskyi appointed Tatarov to the position of Deputy Head of the Office of the President, violating the law of Ukraine on lustration. Tatarov returned to a much higher position than he had under Yanukovych, thanks to Zelenskyi. Who lobbied for this appointment?
Two former lawyers of Portnov were appointed as deputies of the head of the Office of President Zelenskyi. Zelenskyi defends Tatarov from the anti-corruption investigation.
On December 18, SAP announced the suspicion of Tatarov for bribery in the case of apartment theft for the National Guard. Tatarov stated that he will fight against anti-corruption structures that are introducing "external management" of Ukraine. A scandal erupted since Tatarov said the same thing that Russian propaganda says - that anti-corruption bodies in Ukraine are external US management. NABU Director Artem Sytnyk stated that Tatarov will be arrested by the consent of the General Prosecutor. But General Prosecutor Irina Venediktova saved Tatarov and took the case from NABU and SAP to the SBU. It is obvious that this was an order from Bankova, not her own decision.
Zelenskyi understands that he committed a crime, legal and moral, by keeping Tatarov in office, and on February 20 he was embarrassed and hid Tatarov at the meeting with Biden, hiding the one who is actually the face of Zelenskyi in the law enforcement system and in the courts, the one who manipulates judges in Ukraine "in the name of the president".
