Cyberthreat Response Center (CRC) that was created under auspice of the State Service of Special Communications and Information Protection of Ukraine is meant for early detection of cyberthreats and effective counteraction to cyberattacks.
Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Oleksandr Turchynov said opening the CRC, Censor.NET reports citing the NSDC press service.
According to him, the CRC was created using the world's most advanced technologies in cybersecurity.
"We have made an important step in development of the national cybersecurity system," Turchynov said
According to him, the time of response to cyberthreats and warning time has been reduced tenfold.
He said that the facility allows not only detecting cyberattacks but also issue prompt warnings, analyze vulnerabilities, abnormalities, malware and viruses, thereby making it possible to forestall the attack.
