On 10 May 2024, the Russian occupation forces launched a massive offensive in the north of the Kharkiv region. The village of Liptsy, which covers the northern outskirts of Kharkiv, became one of the areas of the enemy's main attack. It is here that the soldiers of the National Guard of the "Khartiia" Brigade are holding the defence.
According to Censor.NET, on 26 May, the enemy launched a powerful attack on one of the key positions near the village of Lyptsi with four FAB-500 bombs, the footage of which was circulated all over the Internet, on a small narrow landing. It was there that the positions of the soldiers of the 1st Battalion of the 13th Brigade "Khartiia" were located, and it seemed impossible to survive such a strike. But our soldiers performed a real feat - the three of them dug in, repelled the Russian attack, and destroyed the enemy assault group of ten men. Oleksandr, a young soldier who is one of the heroes of this feat, in particular, he eliminated 5 occupants with a machine gun, told Butusov Plus about the course of that battle.
