Ukraine successfully tested impact drones on Sept. 14. This was announced by Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Oleksandr Turchynov after the tests on Honcharivske shooting range, the Chernihiv region.
He said one of the tasks set by the National Security and Defense Council for Ukrainian defense production industry is "to establish production of high-quality drones for combat use," NSDC press service told Censor.NET.

"Reconnaissand and strike system Sokil that we tested today comprises one recon and three striking combat machines, which allows it finding and hitting the targets accurately, using high explosive, fragmentation-explosive and thermobaric ammunition depending on the task," Turchynov said after the tests ended, adding that they were conducted under difficult weather conditions (strong wind).
"Despite these problems, almost all set task have been conducted, targets hit."
The NSDC secretary said this drone is a product of successful cooperation between Ukrainian Chezara company and its Polish partners.

"The tests were successful and demonstrated the efficiency of these drones. The next step is to put them in service of the army and use efficiently in combat," Turchynov said.
