Russians keep five missile carriers with 28 Kalibrs in Black Sea - OC "South"
In the Black Sea, the enemy’s ship group consists of 18 units, including five missile carriers with 28 Kalibrs.
Natalia Humeniuk, head of the joint press center of the Operational Command "South", informed about this on the air of the national telethon "Yedini Novyny", Censor.NET informs with reference to Ukrinform.
"Currently in the Black Sea, the naval group represents 18 units, including five missile carriers. Taking into account the fact that they fired a little at night, at least 28 Kalibr missiles are kept at the ready," the spokeswoman said.
Also remind, that on the night of May 9, the Russian invaders attacked the territory of Ukraine with sea- and air-based cruise missiles.
The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny noted that Ukrainian defenders destroyed 23 out of 25 cruise missiles. According to preliminary information, about one and a half dozen enemy air targets were detected and destroyed in the airspace around Kyiv.
Earlier, the Kyiv City Military Administration reported that fragments of Russian missiles fell in two districts of the capital.
It was also reported that a hit was recorded in the Cherkasy region during the missile attack. In addition, it was reported that the Russians shelled 19 front-line settlements in the Zaporizhzhia region.
On the evening of May 8, the Russian military launched a massive missile attack on the Kharkiv district of the region and hit an industrial enterprise in Kramatorsk with missiles.
