Occupiers are building fortifications near Crimea and are preparing for advance of our troops, - Ministry of Defense
The Russian invaders near the Crimean peninsula are building concrete fortifications behind their first line of defense, throwing their soldiers to their deaths.
Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine Hanna Maliar announced this on the air of the nationwide telethon "Yedini Novyny", Censor.NET reports with reference to Ukrinform.
"We are now observing that they are carrying out fortifications with concrete structures, and they are doing it actually on the territory close to the Crimean peninsula itself, which is actually temporarily occupied. And they are doing it deep from the extreme line, where their troops are located. This indicates that, that they are obviously preparing for the fact that there will be an advance from our troops, and they have already put the first line of soldiers to death. Because they are building fortifications behind their backs. That is, they not only do not spare their civilians, but in fact, they don't protect the military either," said Maliar.
She noted that this attitude of the Russian leadership prompts many occupiers to surrender, as they understand that the Russian Federation is grinding them up like cannon fodder.
"If the fortifications are not placed in front of them, but behind them, it means that they have already been conditionally buried," said Maliar.
