Russians are withdrawing reserves to Bakhmut in order to maintain their positions, - Cherevaty
The Russian invaders are trying to maintain their positions near Bakhmut, so they constantly withdraw reserves there.
This was stated by the spokesman of the Eastern Group of Forces, Serhii Cherevaty, Censor.NET reports with reference to Interfax-Ukraine.
"The enemy most wants to maintain their positions under Bakhmut and Bakhmut himself. That is why he constantly draws his reserves there, he sometimes tries to counterattack, but we observe trends, we constantly hit the enemy with fire, extinguishing these attempts to counterattack us. "For the last time, the enemy has had no success in counterattacks," he explained.
Cherevaty noted that in the eastern direction, the most active directions are Bakhmut and Lyman-Kupiansk. More than 15 combat clashes took place during the day.
"In our operational area, more than 1,150 artillery strikes of various types of mortars, barrel artillery, and MLRS were made, 15 combat clashes took place, during which 121 occupiers were killed, 256 were wounded. 4 enemy tanks, 2 mortars, including 240-mm self-propelled mortar "Tiulpan", 2 UAVs "Orlan-10" and 2 kamikaze drones "KUB", 5 units of automobile enemy equipment," the spokesman added.
