Jake Sullivan, the national security adviser to the US president, said that the defense forces of Ukraine are courageously advancing against the Russian army and inflicting huge damage on it during the offensive in Donbas and the south. The West is working to continue increasing the pressure of economic sanctions, undermining Russia’s defense and industrial base.

According to Sullivan, now the AFU is advancing bravely and courageously against the Russian army in the south and east. The Ukrainian army is causing enormous damage to the Russian troops. Western partners and allies continue to work to increase sanctions against Russia to undermine its military-industrial capabilities, undermining its ability to produce advanced technology.
"We will continue to put economic pressure on Russia, and the Ukrainians will continue to put military pressure on Russia. Therefore, I think that in the end, if Russia decides to continue this war, it will cost it very dearly. And Ukraine will continue to progress on the battlefield," he said Sullivan.
He noted that the USA will guarantee long-term support to Ukraine.
"And finally, yes, we very simply said (at the summit - Ed.) to NATO that the future of Ukraine is in NATO. We meant it. It is not negotiable. This is what all 31 allies are now committed to," - the adviser summarized.
