UK leaves EU not Europe, support for Ukraine remains, - British Ambassador Gough on Brexit

Judith Gough, Britain's ambassador to Ukraine, says that U.K.'s possible withdrawal from the European Union will not affect relations with Ukraine, including the military cooperation.

As reported by Censor.NET citing UNIAN, the diplomat said it, speaking at a ceremony on the occasion of Remembrance Day.

According to her, Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs Boris Johnson has been very clear in terms of support for Ukraine since his very appointment to the post.

The U.K. leaves EU not Europe, and its support for Ukraine remains, including in terms of military training, in overcoming the conflict-induced challenges, reforms and the fight against corruption, Gough remarked.
