Banks and Exchange Points Stop Selling Dollars

It turned out to be impossible to buy dollars in several exchange points and bank branches, TSN reports.

Clerks explain this by lack of cash dollars and "the situation with the hryvnia exchange rate."

At the same time one of the banks sells the currency at 8.24 hryvnia to the dollar, but only $ 500 per person.

However, for the repayment of dollar loan the bank has agreed to sell the required amount at the current market rate without actual receipt of foreign cash.
