Head of the National Bank of Ukraine Kubiv Resigned. DOCUMENT

Head of the National Bank of Ukraine Stepan Kubiv tendered his resignation.

The head of the National Bank of Ukraine asked to dismiss him from his post "in connection with the plans to continue the public political activity" the statement posted on Kubiv's page on Facebook says," Censor.NET informs

Earlier, President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko asked the Parliament to dismiss Kubiv from his seat.

The head of state has already filed corresponding bill number 4112a to the Verkhovna Rada. Poroshenko proposes to appoint Valeria Hontareva to the position of the head of the National Bank of Ukraine.
