Metropolitan of Ukrainian Orthodox Church Volodymyr Died

It is reported by Metropolytan secretary Oleksandr Drabinko on his Facebook page, Censor.NET writes.

"Metropolitan of Kyiv and all Ukraine died. God rest his soul ", Fr. Drabynko wrote.

UOC-MP press center also confirmed this information.

"Leader of Ukrainian Orthodox Church, His Beatitude Volodymyr, Metropolitan of Kyiv and all Ukraine died on July 5", the Church said in a statement.

It was reported earlier that Metropolitan Volodymyr suffered a long-time disease and that his illness got worse on July 3.
