Russia Announces Large-Scale Military Exercises near the Ukrainian Border

In the Rostov region and Stavropol Krai, Russia launched large-scale three-day flight tactical exercises during which it is planned that about 30 helicopters will conduct combat launch of unguided missiles, the press service of the Southern Military District of Russia stated on Tuesday, Censor.NET reports citing LigaBiznesInform.

The exercises of this magnitude simultaneously involve two air force units and are held two times a year. The military performing combat training missions operate under a single plan, the Russian Defense Ministry noted.
