Merkel Is Going to Latvia to Discuss Ukrainian Conflict
German Federal Chancellor Angela Merkel is going to visit Riga on August 18 to discuss situation in eastern Ukraine with the leaders of Latvia.
Delfi reports this, Censor.NET informs citing Ukrinfrom.
"Merkel is going to discuss course of events of the conflict in the east of Ukraine with the leaders of Latvia. Merkel's Bureau shall soon officially confirm the visit. She is scheduled to meet with President Andris Berzins and Prime Minister Laimdota Straujuma in Latvia," the newspaper notes.
