Parliament Cancelled Customs Duty for Supplying Arms to Ukraine

The Parliament adopted amendments to the Customs Code providing for removal of duty on defense products import to Ukraine.

According to Censor.NET citing Ukrainska Pravda, the decision was passed by 234 votes.

As stated in the explanatory memorandum, the adoption of the law "will facilitate the import of defense goods to the customs territory of Ukraine throughout the special period, the state of emergency, and in the course of the anti-terrorist operation by way of customs duty exemption."

The list of defense products is subject to approval by the Cabinet of Ministers.
