Donetsk Airport is Under Ukrainian Army Control - ATO Press-Center

Donetsk Airport remains under the control of the anti-terrorist operation forces.

ATO press officer of Leonid Matiukhin claimed this, Censor.NET reports citing Ukrinfrom.

"We do not confirm this information. The airfield is ours," Matyuhin said commenting on Reuters report that the Ukrainian military supposedly left their position in the Donetsk airport on Monday as a result of heavy fighting with terrorists, aided by the Russian servicemen.

Earlier, Ukrainian Defense Minister Valeriy Heletey stated August 31that the Russian troops are in Donetsk as well. The terrorists with the support of the Russian troops are making desperate attempts to clear the airport of Ukrainian servicemen.
