Russia Houses Refugees from Donbas in Its Depressed Regions - NSDC
Ukrainians escaping to Russia from Donbas are granted refugee status by deceit and sent to the depressed regions of Siberia.
Speaker of the NSDC Information Analysis Center Andrii Lysenko said this at the briefing, Censor.NET reports citing Ukrinfrom.
"We bring to the attention of the citizens of Ukraine that the Russians, using the complicated situation in Donbas, are trying to grant refugee status and to resettle in the depressed regions of Siberia as many citizens of Ukraine as possible," Lysenko said.

He explained that for that reason, Ukrainians are provided with a document with the obligation to obtain refugee status instead of a migration card at border crossings to Russia outside control by Ukraine.
"After that, they are relocated to the depressed regions of the Russian Federation ," the NSDC speaker added.
