Poroshenko Left for NATO Summit in Wales

This morning President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko left for the UK to take part in the NATO summit in Wales.

According to Censor.NET citing ZN.UA, the President has a very busy program at the summit, which will last two days.

On the whole, the agenda of the NATO summit will be almost entirely devoted to the situation in Ukraine. Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration Valerii Chalyi noted, that aside from the main events, Poroshenko will have over ten bilateral meetings, as well as a meeting with the leaders of five of the G7 countries.

Chalyi elaborated on the scheduled meetings on his Facebook page: "Participation in the meeting of Heads of State and Governments of the ISAF contributing countries, the meeting of the NATO-Ukraine Commission, a unique format meeting between Poroshenko and Obama, Cameron, Merkel, Hollande, and Renzi (I'd call it G5 + 1), over a dozen full bilateral meetings with the leaders of Canada, Poland, Lithuania, Spain, Norway, Switzerland, Turkey and other countries, joint press conference of the President and NATO Secretary General, media briefings, and opening addresses of the President at several events."

The summit is expected to see the approval of creating NATO Rapid Response Force numbering several thousand people for the protection of Eastern Europe from a possible Russian aggression.
