NATO Intends to Provide Actual Help to Ukraine - Yaremenko

Categorical statements of NATO leaders at a summit in Wales suggests that Ukraine will receive from the alliance real help.

This opinion was expressed by Ukrainian diplomat, former Consul General of Ukraine in Istanbul Bohdan Yaremenko to Radio Liberty, Censor.NET reports.

According to him, now it is difficult to say how far the NATO member countries are ready to go, but they definitely will act.

"The situation is dynamic. Six months ago we were scrutinized: what kind of revolution was it and what is this new power about to. It was said that NATO cannot interfere in the conflict between Ukraine and Russia in any case in the military terms a month ago. But now we see that even the weapon of lethal destruction must be provided and will be provided. That means that a change of rhetoric is so sensible and so much evident that it would be strange, if the real action will not follow," Yaremenko said.

The second day of the NATO member countries summit continue in Wales on Friday. President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko is also participating in the summit.
