1,200 Ukrainian Prisoners Released Since Truce - Poroshenko
President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko said that 1,200 Ukrainian prisoners were released since the declaration of ceasefire.

"We have been able to release 1,200 of our prisoners from captivity over the past 4 days," he said today during his visit to Mariupol.

The President also said that 33 Ukrainian military, who did not surrender, were taken out from the encirclement on Sunday.
"I shall meet with them in Mariupol today," the President said.
As reported, the contact group signed a protocol in Minsk on September 5 for an immediate ceasefire starting from 06:00 p.m. Moscow time in the east of Ukraine. The protocol consists of 12 items and provides, in particular, for the exchange of prisoners, humanitarian aid, and monitoring of the ceasefire on the border.
