2,000 Russian Troops Killed in Ukraine, 8,000 Injured - NSDC

According to the Ukrainian intelligence, about two thousand Russian soldiers were killed in Ukraine and 8,000 were injured.

This was stated by the NSDC speaker Andrii Lysenko, Censor.NET reports.

"There is a growing dissatisfaction with the actions of the Russian authorities in the society due to the information on a large number of Russian troops casualties in Ukraine. The fact that the Russian officials continue to deny the presence of Russian troops in the territory of Ukraine especially enrages people. Another example of such an objection was seen today," he said.

"However, according to reconnaissance data about two thousand Russian soldiers were killed in Ukraine and eight thousand were wounded," the National Security Council notes.

"According to the reports, the deceased were military servicemen of 18 units of the Russian Armed Forces from over 10 regions," Lysenko said.

"The ATO forces continue to record the facts of the Russian presence. This information will be promptly made public," he added.
