72 Bodies of Killed Ukrainian Soldiers Found near Ilovaisk and Savur-Mohyla

The bodies of 72 deceased Ukrainian military were found near Ilovaisk and Savur-Mohyla. Most of the soldiers were killed in the battle for Ilovaisk.

Censor.NET reports this citing the story shown by TSN.

Their bodies were found during search operations. Some of the bodies had to be recovered from broken equipment.

The bodies of dead soldiers are being identified at the moment, although it is hard to do this: looters are destroying Ukrainian servicemen's IDs once they find them, and there are no other personal identifiers on the soldiers' bodies.

Search of the fallen military continues. There are also areas of fighting where the search operation has not begun yet. Mass graves were found in the vicinity of Petrivske village near Savur-Mohyla. However, it is still impossible to move bodies from there because of raining.

The representatives of the organization that conducts search operations on behalf of the Ministry of Defense said that they receive information about locations and the number of dead every day. It is often exaggerated, though.

As it was previously reported, the Ministry of Defense partially declassified the information about Ilovaisk encirclement.
