Soldiers 'Mothers of Ukraine Committee Urged Russian Mothers to Take Their "Accidentally Strayed in Donbas" Children Back Home
Mothers of the Ukrainian army soldiers called on Russian servicemen’s mothers to resist a bloody war with Ukraine unleashed by the Kremlin and promote the withdrawal of Russian troops from the territory of Ukraine.
This is stated in the open appeal of the Committee of Soldiers 'Mothers of Ukraine to the head of the Union of Committees of Soldiers' Mothers of Russia Valentina Melnikova, released at a press conference in Kyiv, Censor.NET reports citing Ukrinfrom.

"We, the mothers of the servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, appeal to mothers of the Russian Federation servicemen with a request to recognize the persistent illegal criminal actions of Russia on the territory of our state, supporting the DPR and LPR terrorist organizations with the funding, supply of weapons, heavy equipment, manpower ... We call on to resist the war, contribute the immediate cessation of hostilities, the withdrawal of Russian troops from the territory of Ukraine," Chairman of the Mothers' Union "Zakhyst" Nadia Kuramshina read out the message.
The document states that the Russian Federation authorities are cynically hiding the truth from the Russian mothers about 2 thousand Russians killed and eight thousand wounded in the eastern Ukraine, who were serving in 18 different detachments and military bases of the Russian Federation Armed Forces. "We urge the Russian mothers to take their children, who "accidentally strayed" in Ukraine, and the bodies of the deceased soldiers. We call on the Russian Federation people to open their eyes, to strive to not be afraid to discover the truth, to hear us in unity against violence, tears, sorrow, blood and grief of war," the statement says.

The Ukrainian mothers are asking Russian ones "not to sell themselves out and stop supporting the fascist regime." "Do not let your sons, husbands, brothers to side with the murderers and fulfill criminal orders," the mothers of Ukraine said.
