Militants Storming Avdiivka. There Are Casualties - News Media

Militants of the terrorist organization DPR launched an assault on Avdiivka in the Donetsk region. The assault began from the direction of Yasynuvata.

"There are many tanks from the direction of Yasynuvata," the newspaper writes citing local residents.

It is also noted that active hostilities are near school #7 and a railway crossing. There are explosions and machine gun fire.

"A minivan was shot out at the railway crossing. There are wounded among the civilian population. A guy got shot in the forehead in course of sporadic fire," locals write on social networks.

Also there are wounded among the Ukrainian military. "An APC with the Ukrainian flag carrying 8 people, one of them wounded went towards the hospital," residents note.
