Situation in Eastern Ukraine as of September 23. MAP

The terrorists continue to violate the ceasefire in eastern Ukraine and provoke Ukrainian servicemen. So, yesterday the militants unsuccessfully attempted to storm a stronghold near the village of Avdiivka and Nikishyne (Shakhtarsk district). All attacks were repulsed, the terrorists have suffered losses.

There were also attacks on checkpoints and positions of the Ukrainian troops, including the Donetsk airport. Around 11pm September 22, shelling was stopped.
