The video shows a border guard officer checking a passenger’s identity by scanning fingerprints and travel passport using mobile passport reader.

As reported, Ukraine launched the biometric border-control system in test mode at the main border-crossing points at the the Ukraine-Russia border to check the border guards' readiness ahead of the large-scale launch scheduled for Jan. 1, 2018.
Mobile passport readers will primarily be used at the major strategic highways, namely Hoptivka (the Kharkiv region) and Bachevsk (the Sumy region) border-crossing points.
