One Ukrainian soldier killed, one injured in action in past day, - ATO HQ

A member of the Ukrainian Armed Forces was killed and another one received injury in attacks committed by the Russian militants in the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) zone over the past 24-hour period.

Censor.NET reports citing the statement by the ATO headquarters press center as of Feb. 22, 2018.

"A Ukrainian soldier was killed and another one was injured as a result of the enemy bombardments. We offer sincere condolences to the relatives and friends of the serviceman who gave up his life for Ukraine’s peaceful future," the casualty report reads.

Earlier, the combined Russian and terrorist forces attacked the Ukrainian troops 20 times on Feb. 21.
