Two law enforcement officers were injured and nine protesters were detained as a result of a clash outside the Verkhovna Rada building this morning.

"The criminal gang Rukh Novykh Syl run by Saakashvili has just staged a provocation outside Rada. They brought tires to the square near the building of the Verkhovna Rada and tried to set them on fire. The police was stoned after they prevented this. Two police officers were injured 15 minutes ago - one of them has his collarbone broken," People’s Front faction MP Anton Herashchenko said from the parliament’s rostrum, Censor.NET reports.

The politician considered such protesters’ behavior as a provocation.

"Nine persons involved in the provocation, which was possibly sponsored by Russians, have been detained. They will be taken to the law enforcement agencies," he added.
