No fatalities in Ukrainian army over past day, one Ukrainian soldier injured, one traumatized amidst 50 militants’ attacks, - ATO HQ

Combined Russian-terrorist forces committed 50 attacks on Ukrainian military personnel over the past day occasionally using weapons prohibited by the Minsk agreements.
Censor.NET reports citing the latest update by the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) headquarters press center as of April 18, 2018.
"In Donetsk section of the forefront, the enemy employed 120-mm mortars banned by the Minsk deal, 82-mm mortars, grenade launchers, large caliber machine guns, and small arms against defenders of Butivka mine, Nevelske and Novotroitske. Ukrainian forces’ positions in the vicinity of Mykolaivka came under 120-mm mortar strike while the suburbs of Pisky and Vodiane were bombarded with 82-mm mortars and grenade launchers. The enemy also shelled the defenders of Talakivka, Hnutove, Bohdanivka, and Avdiivka with grenade launchers. Ukrainian troops’ defenses near Bohdanivka were fired upon with armament of infantry fighting vehicles. The militants used large-caliber machine guns near Opytne, Vodiane and Talakivka villages and small arms - in the vicinity of Lebedynske, Verkhniotoretske, Marinka, Kamianka, Shyrokyne and Avdiivka. Sniper attacks were recorded not far from Hnutove.
"In Luhansk direction, the invaders blanketed the Ukrainian troops’ defenses near Novooleksandrivka and Popasna with 82-mm mortars and shelled the defenders of Luhanske and Svitlodarsk with grenade launchers. The Ukrainian troops deployed in Novoluhanske were attacked with large-caliber machine guns. The enemy snipers committed attacks on the outskirts of Maiorsk and Novhorodske.
"A Ukrainian soldier was injured in action and another one received combat trauma over the past 24 hours. The injured servicemen were taken to hospitals where they received necessary medical care," the situation report reads.
Earlier, Russian terrorists committed 45 attacks on Ukrainian military personnel on April 17.
