Turchynov urges officials to donate blood for Ukraine defenders. PHOTOS

On the eve of the World Blood Donor Day, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine (NSDC) Oleksandr Turchynov along with several officials of the NSDC secretariat donated blood for wounded soldiers receiving medical care at the Main Military Clinical Hospital.

As reported by Censor.NET citing the statement by the NSDC press service, he also urged all Ukrainian officials, lawmakers, and civil servants "to share their blood with Ukraine defenders."

"I call upon all heads of ministries and government agencies, members of the parliament, and civil servants to share their blood with our soldiers, who shed their blood on the daily basis while defending Ukraine," Turchynov said.
