Ukraine to Take Part in NATO Exercises in Turkey

RIA Novosti news agency reports this, Censor.NET informs citing ZN.UA.

"The exercises are aimed to strengthen capability of participating countries and to improve co-operation," the statement says.

Among the partner countries participating in the exercises there are Algeria, Azerbaijan, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Montenegro, Mauritania, Macedonia, Moldova, Pakistan, Serbia and Ukraine.

143 people are expected to participate in the exercises: 84 of them will represent Turkey, 11 - other NATO member countries, 48 - the Alliance partner countries, the statement of the Turkish General Staff says.

As you know, more than a half of Ukrainians (52%) are willing to support NATO membership on a national referendum if such would take place in the near future.
