The fighters of the 24th Separate Assault Battalion Aidar demonstrated trophies they took over seven months of fighting in Ukraine’s Donbas region occupied by Russia.
"In the first seven months of 2018, the soldiers of the 24th Separate Assault Battalion Aidar taking part in the Joint Forces Operation destroyed and damaged up to 23 units of armored and wheeled military vehicles," the detachment's press service wrote on social media, Censor.NET reports.
"The 4th separate mechanized rifle brigade of the 2nd Army Corps of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation has up to 150 its members killed in action. The mentioned casualties also include GRU commandoes and members of the separate reconnaissance battalion of the 2nd Army Corps (Aug. 23, 2018).
"We’d also like to say hello to the separate reconnaissance battalion of the 2nd Army Corps. Thanks for Mavic [UAV]. We will be back very soon and go on killing you, separatists, with unprecedented proficiency," Aidar fighters said in a statement.
