MP Chumak unites with Hrytsenko for presidential race, becomes his campaign manager

A Member of the Ukrainian parliament, leader of Khvylia civil movement Viktor Chumak has announced his decision to support head of Hromadianska Pozytsia (Civil Position) Party Anatolii Hrytsenko as a presidential candidate during 2019 capmaign.

"We decided to combine the efforts of Khvylia civil movement and Hromadianska Pozytsia. Announcing the intention to run for president, I said that I was ready to support a candidate with a higher rating. This decision was made by me and our team," he told a press briefing on Monday, Censor.NET reports Interfax-Ukraine.

In turn, Hrytsenko said that it was Chumak who had already been appointed head of his campaign office.
