Poroshenko promises to preserve religious peace in Ukraine

He gave this promise at Vasyl Lypkivskyi monument opening in Cherkasy, Censor.NET reports citing Interfax-Ukraine.
"I will do everything to ensure a peaceful conversion process and preserve religious peace," said Poroshenko.
He also emphasized this was the only way to build a strong Ukrainian state.
He reminded that Moscow provocations regarding the autocephaly of Orthodox Church in Ukraine will continue.
"The enemy aims to create conflicts around the conversion [of parishes into OCU] and to test our unity again," the president said.
He also mentioned that in Cherkasy region 6 parishes have already converted into OCU.
"They are confident in making their own choice despite Moscow Patriarchy’s pressure," said Poroshenko.
