Kyiv commemorates first Heavenly Hundred victims. VIDEO&PHOTOS

Several dozens of people have marched down Kyiv’s Khreshchatyk Street in memory of Serhii Nigoian, Mykhailo Zhyznevskyi, Roman Senyk and Yurii Verbytskyi.

As reported by Censor.NET, they carried red-and-black flags and portraits of the first Heavenly Hundred heroes to reach the Valerii Lobanovskyi Dynamo Stadium on Hrushevskoho Street.

They laid flowers, lit candles at the memorial to the Heavenly Hundred victims and prayed for the dead heroes.

The march was guarded by several dozens of police officers.

20-years-old Serhii Nihoian was the first victim of the police during the Revolution of Dignity. He was shot in the morning of Jan. 22, 2014. 25-year-old Belorussian Mykhailo Zhyznevskyi was shot on the same day.

In the afternoon Jan. 22, Roman Senyk was fatally wounded. The body of kidnapped and tortured Yurii Verbytskyi was found in Hnidyn village later that day.
