US Deputy Assistant Secretary Kent met with Ukraine’s president-elect Volodymyr Zelenskyi

The US Deputy Assistant Secretary of State George Kent met with Ukraine’s President-elect Volodymyr Zelenskyi in Kyiv today, the U.S. Embassy in Ukraine reports.

"Deputy Assistant Secretary George Kent congratulated President-elect Zelenskyi on his victory and emphasized that the United States stands ready to continue partnering with Ukraine to advance political and economic reforms," the embassy wrote on Twitter.

As reported, Deputy Assistant Secretary George Kent arrived in Kyiv to discuss with Ukrainian officials the further development of the partnership, reforms in Ukraine and Russian aggression.
