Turchynov became new National Security and Defense Council Secretary

"… to assign Oleksandr Turchynov Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council," the text of the presidential decree 928/2014 of Dec. 15, 2014, promulgated on Tuesday reads, Censor.NET reports citing the official website of the president.

It should be reminded that Oleksandr Turchynov served as Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine from Feb. 22 to Nov. 27, 2014.
