This is stated by the press center of the anti-terrorist operation on Monday morning, Censor.NET reports.
"The night in the ATO area was relatively calm. Since 00.20 a.m. there was not a single shot fired in the Donbas. So far, the illegal armed groups 10 times resorted to provocations and opened fire on the positions of the Ukrainian military using a variety of weapons, including artillery," in the press center notes.
According to the press release, the terrorists opened fire at Pisky near Donetsk five times using small arms, heavy machine gun and mortars. The Ukrainian troops at a checkpoint near Novotoshkivske came under small arms fire and ATO positions near Orlovo-Ivanivka were fired upon by mortars.
"At midnight hour the illegal armed groups fired at the Ukrainian military using artillery systems three times within an hour. The terrorists conducted artillery fire near Ridkodub and twice near Maloorlivka," the press center notes.
