Ukrainian soldiers repulsed tanks’ flank attack at Donetsk airport - Biriukov
The ATO forces prevented the enemy tanks’ assault in the airport of Donetsk.
Adviser to the President, Defense Minister Assistant Yurii Biriukov wrote on his Facebook page, Censor.NET informs.
"The situation near the Donetsk airport in the village of Pisky: there was flank tank assault that was repulsed. The village of Pisky was heavily shelled from Grads all day long. The encirclement of Pisky village is out of the question - there are a lot of ways out," Biriukov wrote.
"Many people complained that our forces were standing still. Now we have started to act again and there is something the matter with it again. I should remind you that this is not some kind of a game. There are real skirmishes where people are killed. And the more we act, the more people will be killed," Biriukov summed up.
