Today militants concentrated attacks at Luhansk direction – ATO press center

Over the past day, the intensity of the fire on the Ukrainian military positions in the ATO area has slightly decreased.

It is reported by Censor.NET citing the ATO press service.

The summary notes: "However, the militants changed tactics concentrating their efforts at Luhansk direction. Here the terrorists opened fire on the ATO forces positions 25 times. The fire strikes of the criminals who used Grad multiple rocket launchers had most affected Novotoshkivske, Vilkhove, Krymske, and Shchastia.

The press center emphasizes that "At Debaltseve direction clashes occurred in the area of Chornukhine and Mius.

At Donetsk direction the militants shelled 15 towns and villages using artillery and mortars. At Mariupol direction they fired on Chermalyk village.

In total, over the day the criminals attacked the Ukrainian positions and peaceful towns 61 times.

In response, the Ukrainian artillery gave a fitting rebuff to the enemy. According to preliminary data, over 20 militants seven units of equipment were neutralized."

"Today, in accordance with the agreements that have been reached in the Joint Center for Control and Coordination of the Cease-fire, the evacuation of civilians from the city of Debaltseve took place. More than 50 buses have taken people away from the confrontation area. It should be noted that tomorrow the truce on the Debaltseve-Vuhlehirsk and Debaltseve-Artemivsk highways will continue," the press center concluded.
