Pechersk Court to announce the decision on Yefremov’s inquiry Feb. 25
Pechersk District Court in Kyiv will announce the decision on the measures of restraint for former Verkhovna Rada deputy, the former chairman of the Party of Regions faction in the parliament of the seventh convocation Oleksandr Yefremov, suspected of inciting ethnic hatred, Feb. 25 at 02:00 p.m.
Yefremov told journalists after the hearing on Tuesday, Censor.NET reports citing Ukrainski Novyny.
He noted that judge Oksana Tsarevych has recessed for deliberations to the chambers and will announce the decision on Feb. 25 at approximately 02:00 p.m.
Earlier Feb. 16, Pechersk District Court arrested Yefremov on suspicion of promoting the "dictatorial laws" Jan. 16, 2014. He was released from custody after posting a bail of 3.654 million hryvnia Feb. 17. The court considered preventive measure for Yefremov on suspicion of inciting ethnic hatred Feb. 18.
