The terrorist named Sergei Kertel, 38, was killed in the Donbas. He also participated in the Chechen war. Kertel was buried on March 5.

Sergei Kertel was born in 1976. It is reported that he served in 'Tigr' special battalion of the Russian police in the Altai region between 1997 and 2004. He also participated in the Chechen war.

According to unconfirmed information, the Barnaul resident had a call sign 'Churchill.' He left for Donbas shortly before the New Year and was killed on Jan. 23. According to information from one of online forums, the terrorist died during an intelligence operation near the Donetsk airport.
