Poroshenko: Donbas elections will be held under Ukrainian legislation

President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko announced that elections in the Donbas will be held exclusively under Ukrainian legislation. No other options are available, the president said.
As reported by Censor.NET, this was announced by Interfax-Ukraine.
"The Ukrainian party wishes to contact only legitimately elected representatives of Donetsk and Luhansk, elected under Ukrainian laws and in processes under international standards, including those of OSCE; at elections recognized by the whole civilized world," the president said at a press conference after talks with Romanian President Klaus Iohannis.
The president stressed that Ukraine requires fair elections under OSCE standards and Ukrainian legislation.
"No other elections will be held in Ukraine," Poroshenko said.
