Oleksii Takhtai appointed new Interior Minister’s deputy

Oleksii Takhtai has become new deputy of Interior Minister Arsen Avakov.

Poroshenko Bloc parliamentary faction representative Serhii Kaplin told journalists, Censor.NET reports citing RBC-Ukraine.

"I, together with my colleagues MPs, will conduct a thorough analysis of Oleksii Takhtai's past and he will start working (as Avakov's deputy - Ed.) tomorrow," Kaplin said.

It should be noted that Takhtai previously held the position of Director of Financial and Accounting Department of the Interior Ministry.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs has also confirmed Takhtai's appointment.
