If Ukraine can return Crimea by force, it should be supported - Head of Munich Conference Goisgen

Christoph Goisgen, former advisor to Angela Merkel and chairman of the Munich Security Conference, said that if Ukraine is able to return Crimea by military means, Germany should support it.
He said this in an interview with DW, reports Censor.NЕТ.
According to him, Crimea is definitely the territory of Ukraine and it has every right to return it by military means, and therefore the decision should be made in Kyiv.
He noted that Germany had tried to "solve the problem" with Russia after the beginning of its aggression against Ukraine in 2014 through negotiations and the Minsk agreements.
He stressed that Russia had put all negotiating efforts on the back burner and behaved very aggressively, being responsible for the deaths of tens of thousands of people.
"Just look at Mariupol, how they destroyed it. They destroyed it, just like Grozny. So we have to provide full support to the Ukrainians, and if Ukraine can return Crimea, it must be supported," he said.
