Most militants’ attacks recorded near Donetsk, - ATO press-center
Most attacks conducted by the militants were recorded in the Donetsk vicinity.
Censor.NET informs citing the situation report of the anti-terrorist operation press-center on Facebook.
"The situation in the ATO area remains tense. The pro-Russian mercenaries have committed about 30 attacks on the Ukrainian troops' positions as well as peaceful cities and villages during the day. Most attacks were recorded in the Donetsk vicinity. The pro-Russian mercenaries committed strikes on Pisky village and Butovka mine from 120-mm mortars. The villages of Opytne and Pervomaiske were attacked from 122-mm artillery systems. The enemy also used weapons of tanks and infantry fighting vehicles as well as automatic grenade launchers and small arms," the statement reads.
"The militants shelled Myronivskyi town at the Artemivsk direction from 122-mm artillery and fired at Popasna and Zolote from mortars. The militants fired the city of Shchastia from automatic grenade launchers twice," the press center added.
It is noted that the shells of heavy artillery systems were hitting the houses in the villages of Leninske and Vodiane today.
