We know from Munich in 1938 what can happen if aggressor is not stopped - Rutte

It is critically important for Europe to remain united in countering Russian aggression in Ukraine, because Europeans have already seen what happens when the aggressor is not stopped.
This was stated by Prime Minister of the Netherlands Mark Rutte at the Ukrainian Breakfast in Davos, reports Censor.NЕТ with reference to Ukrinform.
"We are talking about values, but there is also a military side to this. Think about the fact that if one day Russia is able to control Ukraine, it will not stop there. We know from Munich in 1938 what can happen if the aggressor continues to do what it is doing and is not stopped, we have already seen it. That is why we are absolutely united in Europe," Rutte said.
He assured that Ukraine's partners will continue to work together, and "it's not just Europe, it's the United States and Canada."
The Prime Minister of the Netherlands explained why his country decided to provide Ukraine with the Patriot system: "This is also our fight."
"Zelensky and his team are fighting for us as well, so we have to be strong and I am convinced that we will be until the end. I am absolutely convinced that Ukraine will win because they are not alone. All the friends of the world are with them, and this should continue, it is critically important," Rutte emphasized.
