Finland will transfer heavy artillery and ammunition to Ukraine

Finland allocates the 12th package of military aid to Ukraine, which, among other things, will include heavy artillery and ammunition.
As Censor.NET informs with reference to Interfax-Ukraine, this is stated in the statement of the Finnish government.
"Defence Minister Mikko Savola emphasized that Finland will supply Ukraine with heavy artillery and ammunition," the press release states.
According to the statement, the cost of the equipment provided for in this aid package is more than 400 million euros. In total, Helsinki provided military aid to Ukraine in the amount of 590 million euros.
It will be recalled that earlier the President of Finland, Sauli Niinisto, said that his country can transfer a small batch of Leopard tanks to Ukraine - in the event of the creation of a "joint European project to provide assistance to Ukraine".
"However, the amount of transferred armored vehicles cannot be large, as Finland borders Russia and is not yet a NATO member state," Niinisto noted.
